Every young filmmaker in Bollywood would want to stand in Farhan Akhtar’s shoes—they’re a cool and successful pair. On second thoughts, they don’t make for such a comfort fit after all. Three years since the city-slick Dil Chahta Hai (DCH) blew a fresh breeze of story-telling, every filmmaker from Karan Johar to Kunal Kohli has tried hard to sport an attitude but never quite managed to get as effortlessly stylish. No wonder we are again looking to Farhan to deliver the next nouveau hip in the form of Lakshya.
