Im weiter unten verlinkten - Dank dafür! - Blog zum Thema Asiatischer Film diesen Link zu einem Interview der Village Voice mit Christopher Doyle (Kameramann Wong Kar-wei und Zhang Yimous "Hero" und und und) und Pen-ek Ratanaruang gefunden. Ganz auf der Höhe ist Doyle da nicht, aber das macht die Sache eher lustiger:

Do you watch movies that you've shot?

Quote from The Mosquito Coast. . . . Anyway, it goes back to that incredible, intense rush—the first image, first day of shooting. Then I fall asleep.
